David Bouchard Wows the Crowd

David Bouchard lets us travel in our minds

February 25, 2012 - David Bouchard wowed students from St. Raphael and surrounding schools with his stories about his aborignal roots, his dyslexia, and the importance of reading. A renowned Canadian author, David not only read from some of his works, but played his many different flutes from his vast collection to inspire children to travel in their minds as they listened to the music. Books, such as, "The Elders are Watching", were given away to students. Students were mesmirized by David's words. David was in Sudbury for the "Reading Rocks the North" conference held at Laurentian University on Friday and Saturday.
